Youth and Home School Programs for All Ages

The Church is under attack from all sides today. What can I do as a confirmed Catholic? What role will I play? How will I serve the Lord and His Church?

Rich is often invited to speak at home school graduations, confirmations, and other parish forums to inspire and teach the youth. One of his prime programs is “Witnesses for Christ” which challenges our youth to reject the secular temptations and take the road to sainthood. “‘Woe to me if I do not proclaim the Gospel’ (1 Cor 9:16). All of us are called to offer others an explicit witness to the saving love of the Lord”. (Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium ns. 9, 121)

Rich provides examples by pointing to the lives of the saints. Most important is to have recourse to Our Lady, our Spiritual Mother and the Mother of Vocations. It is important for our youth to have recourse to Mary and make her part of their spiritual life. Bring children to Mary and they will lead them to Christ!

Many of the sessions include praying the Rosary. It important that traditional, 500 year-old Catholic devotions be revived and taught (devotion to the Sacred Heart, Miraculous Medal, Brown Scapular, etc.) before they are forever lost. These devotions and graces associated with them will stay with them and strengthen them for years to come.
